It's a pretty impressive cliff that is about 1000 ft. Most of the hike in is through an area that was recently logged. It's an easy walk of about 1 mile.
We didn't know where any climbs were so we picked a line started left of the vegatated dike, crossed through dike and went up for 7 pitches. We guess our route was a bit over 900 ft. An approximation of the route is in red with belays marked in black.
Chuck on the run out part of the first pitch (about 5.7). Other than a rap route that we found higher on the cliff there were no bolts.
We were suprised at how featured much of the rock was. There were often good gear placements. Here Chuck is placing a cam in the overlaps.
Here I'm leading the second pitch heading toward a tree belay. We ended up getting around the steep overlap that is above me on its right. On the way down we determined that the usual way to do the route is to go left.
I didn't get a picture of Chuck on the third pitch as view from my belay position was blocked by a tree. This is me leading the fourth pitch. I took it straight up which ended up bring me to another tree belay. It might have been better to trend left, but I'm not sure what was there to belay from.
Here I'm following the fifth pitch (probably 5.7). Most of the rock was absolutely beautiful. On the lead Chuck noticed a two bolt anchor about 10 feet beyond our max, so we climbed together for a very short distance.

Chuck made a very nice lead on this pitch. Part of the pitch was steeper than it looks here.
